What is in the Vectothor sachet (which is also known as In2Care Mix or simply In2Mix)? The contents of this sachet is to be used inside the In2Care bucket and the recommended refill interval is every four to six weeks. The ingredients are intended to attract mosquitoes to lay eggs inside the trap and when these hatch into larvae, the smell will attract even more mosquitoes to deposit their eggs. The larvicide (PPF) will kill all larvae when they pupate, and the biological adulticide (B. bassiana) will kill the mosquito several days later after she has disseminated the PPF to surrounding breeding sites. That is how In2Care trap (or station) can provide 24/7 protection from mosquitoes. Do not be alarmed, it is normal to see live larvae in the In2Care mosquito trap. The In2Mix refill sachet is registered and imported by Ensystex (Singapore) Pte Ltd.
Formulation: Water-dispersible Granule.

Active Ingredients: 75% weight per weight Pyriproxyfen (a pesticide that prevents larva from developing into adult mosquito), 10% weight per weight Beauveria bassiana (an entomopathogenic fungus for biological control of mosquitoes).
Inert ingredients: 15% weight per weight Silicon dioxide.

Toxicological Effect(s) on Non-Target Organism(s): Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects.
Physical and Health Hazards: May cause allergic skin reaction. May cause allergy or asthma symptoms or breathing difficulties if inhaled. May irritate the eyes.
Storage and Disposal: Away from children, pets, food, drinks, feedstuffs, strong oxidising agents, acids and bases during application and storage. Store in the closed original labelled container in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area out of direct sunlight. Do not store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight. Dispose of empty container and used gauze by wrapping in paper, placing in plastic bag, and putting in the refuse bin. Do not contaminate ponds, waterways or drains with the product or used containers or when cleaning equipment. Do not use the empty container for any other purposes. Any unwanted quantity of this product must be disposed of in accordance with requirements laid down in the Waste Disposal Ordinance Cap. 354.
First Aid: if inhaled, move victim to fresh air. If on skin, take off contaminated clothing and wash with water for 5 minutes. If in eyes, flush contaminated eye(s) with lukewarm, gently flowing water for 5 minutes. Take special care if exposed person is wearing contact lenses. If swallowed or gets in mouth, do not induce vomiting; wash mouth with lukewarm water and seek medical treatment. If irritation persists, seek medical treatment. No specific antidote, treat symptomatically.
Precautions: Do not allow product to directly contact humans, pets, exposed food, food preparation areas or food utensils. Avoid contact with mouth, skin, eyes, and clothing. After use or handling, wash hands and other exposed areas with mild soap and water thoroughly. Avoid breathing dust. Pesticide should be applied in concealed locations inaccessible to children, birds, domestic animals, and pets. Follow the recommended application rate and avoid excessive use. Do not eat, drink, or smoke during application. If someone feels unwell during or after handling or using this product, stop using immediately and seek medical help at once. Avoid release of this product to the environment. Avoid drifting of pesticide powder. Wear personal protective equipment during application.
Shelf-Life: This product has an expected shelf-life of 2 years.

The In2Mix refill sachets are stored at 7℃ in the warehouse. During shipment, the refills will also be kept at low temperature.
The refill sachets have a shelf life of 2 years if kept below 7℃.
The refill sachets have a shelf life of 1 year at room temperatures below 23℃.
Always keep the refill sachets in a cooler bag or similar device inside a service vehicle.
When servicing, bring the cooler bag along and keep the refill sachets out of sunlight all the time.
If you still have refill sachets left after a warm field day, you can still use them the following day if protected from extreme heat.
When stored correctly, you will see dust during opening of the refill sachet.
If temperatures exceed 43℃, the contents will melt and become sticky. The refill will no longer be effective and should be replaced. Therefore, always ensure the refills are kept at temperatures below 43℃ all the time.
